· Small ads can be used to test headlines and other key elements before you pay for a larger ads. You can’t be sure about headlines which one will take off, appeal the people most and become your best money maker. So it makes a lot more sense to test headlines on small ads before you spend money on larger ads.
· Small ads are also used to generate leads. You may offer a free booklet or some other free information product in your small ads. But you should provide more useful information instead a sales message to your readers. But even then you will have much more space to sell than in a full space ad in a publication.

It is unbelievable but the fact is that any marketing plan can not be made better without smart use of such small ads. They are also cost effective.
