When violent video games first debuted the intended age group was older adults. As the years past the age group that were becoming interested with violent video games were teenagers, and young adults. This posed a major area of concern in the past due to the fact that children are not supposed to be playing with anything that would make violence seem interesting and cool. However, as the years past, the more violence was becoming part of the norm when it came to play time. Children became less interested in playing board games or using their imaginations and more interested in fake video realities that rewarded violence. The problem with the rising interest in video reality is that children do not understand the difference between what is fake and real. Often times when asking a child who has played video games "What did you do today?" they tend to respond by stating almost everything they did in the video game. Whereas a person who knows the difference between a game and real life will say they played video games and continue on with their description of their day. Although many people would argue that playing violent video games is just a harmless activity taken too seriously by people. But already signs of adolescences who do not comprehend the difference tend to resemble the actions in the violent video games. Violent video game is teaching children a unreasonable, foolish way of communication, through violence.

I do also think that violent video games are harming kids and young adults. As using internet has become a part of their educational curriculum they easily access such kind of games online. So its high time for all the parents and guardian to become more careful when their kids play games.
